What Size of Container Do You Need?

We have several different capacity options for you to choose from when renting your dumpster.  Roll off dumpsters are measured in cubic yards, so a 10 yard dumpster will hold 10 cubic yards of materials.  It can be difficult to select the perfect dumpster size for your project, so we have provided a few examples of what each container is capable of holding.  If you have any additional questions, contact a representative about your project personally.  We would be happy to help you select the size you need.  

10 Yard Containers

Fill a 20 or 30 yard container to 10 yard capacity.  May be appropriate for:
  • A small basement or garage clean out
  • Removing a 250 sq. ft. patio or deck
  • Removing a single layer of roofing material on an area less than 1500 sq. ft.
  • A very small remodeling job, such as a bathroom

15 Yard Containers

Fill a 20 or 30 yard container to 15 yard capacity.  May be appropriate for:
  • 6 pickup loads worth of trash
  • A small remodeling job such as kitchens and small basements
  • Yard and shed clean outs
  • Removing a single layer of roofing material on an area less than 2000 sq. ft.

20 Yard Containers

20 yard containers are 22 ft. long, 8 ft. wide and nearly 5.5 ft. tall.  May be appropriate for:
  • A large basement, attic or garage clean out
  • Flooring or carpet removal for a large home
  • 300-400 sq. ft patio or deck removal
  • Removing a single layer of roofing material on an area less than 2500 sq. ft of single layer roof 

30 Yard Containers

30 Yard Container Size
30 yard containers are 22 ft. long, 8 ft. wide and 6 ft. tall.  May be appropriate for:
  • A large home clean out 
  • A home addition or remodeling job
  • Construction of a new home
  • Entire house window or siding replacement on a medium sized home
